The idea of MAN blossomed on a late trip to escape. While driving back from a funny one night run to Newport RI where my brother was staying on a buisness trip I began to extricate the staples that would become 'MAN'. After my dog, Dextor and I felt the sea and became splattered in a funny red seaweed that clung to his face and my hair like a parasite we drove. There I knew that there had to be a place in the history of nature for Man. Of course. I thought, "I can be hard on us right now." The funny ocean and all its shore rules, the off-season bay town, the highways and exits... Man disregards the future continuously in favor of the carnival.
lyrics
Yeah, sure it's been nullified.
What a pretty little thing to split open wide.
Man, you've got to see it from the inside out.
If you really want to know what it's all about.
No, no, can't just let it grow.
Got to break it down,
then watch it grow back.
No, no, can't just let it die got to
hook it up
watch it stay alive
a little longer
Man, you've got to feel it from the inside out.
If you really want to know what it's all about.
